Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill to provide psychological support to victims, accused persons

•Some 8 MPs put a bill before Parliament to push for the criminalization of LGBTQ+ activities • The bill will also protect victims and accused persons from been harassed or abused • Persons who identify as LGBTQ+ will be provided with psychological support per provisions in the bill The anti-LGBTQI+ Bill which has been put before parliament for consideration has made provisions for the support of persons who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and (LGBTTQ+), Portions of the Bill dubbed, “The promotion of Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Value” has components of social support systems which its propagators indicate will help persons within the LGBTQ+ community understand their sexuality.
