The annual New Year Comedy Night is set to return in January with more hilarious and rib-cracking jokes to begin the New Year.
The event will take place at the Alisa Hotel in Accra on January 1.
It will be a two-show event starting from 6pm and 9pm respectively, with performances from comedians as OB Amponsah, Lekzy DeComic, Jacinta, Id James Brown, Comedian Waris, MjTheComedian, Ranzy and DKB.
The rest are Foster Romanus, Percy, Nino, Sportoo, Putogo and P Jay.
The night won’t just be about comedy but also anticipated exciting music performances from top acts like Tic Tac, Fameye, Sefa and Article Wan.
The New Year Comedy Night is a Lemsa Production aimed at entertaining patrons of Ghana comedy. It is always the first comedy show to open the year.
The 2022 event will be the third of its kind and it’s anticipated to live to its billing with the calibre of comedians on the bill.
According to comedian DKB, there will be two shows on the night because they want to prevent overcrowding at the event due to Covid-19.
“This will help half the turnout into two manageable crowds with everyone guaranteed to have a great time alongside observing the Covid-19 protocols,” he added.
