The son of retired Black Stars striker Charles Amoah – Winfred Amoah, scored the opening goal for Kapfenberg SV in the Austria second-tier league on Sunday.
Amoah’s 6th minute opener proved to be a huge reverse for his side as they succumbed to a 5-1 loss at their own backyard Grazer AK.
The defeat leaves Kapfenberg without a win from their opening 7 games of the season – sitting at the basement of the league table.
The goal is Amoah’s first of the season for his struggling side.
He was born in St. Gallen – Switzerland but holds an Austria passport.
