Ghanaian youth forward Philip Yeboah strikes stunning goal for Verona in Italy

Ghanaian youth striker Philip Yeboah struck the opening goal for Verona U19 in their 2-2 drawn game with Cagliari U19 in the Italian Primavera on Thursday.

Yeboah, 19, beat the visitors’ defence to draw first blood for the hosts in a game which was staged in the Veneto Province.

The Drobo-born youngster has now registered 12 goals in 25 appearances for Verona who are trying to push themselves away from the drop zone.

He wasn’t the only Ghanaian youngster who took part in the game as young center-back Ibrahim Suleiman also started and completed the game.

The striker was substituted on the 87th-minute mark.
