Ghana will not have any representation at the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League after Ampem Darkoaa Ladies failed to qualify to the second edition after losing in the WAFU Zone B finals on Saturday evening.

Nana Adarkwah’s ladies were unable to recover from their first-half shock after the Nigerian side took a huge 3-0 lead.

Hasaacas Ladies reached the grand finale of the competition last season after giving a strong account of themselves in the tournament which was hosted in Morocco.

However, this time round, the Ghanaian double-winners (Women’s Premier League and the FA Cup) could not qualify to the main tournament which will be hosted in Egypt.
