Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are reportedly courting ASFA Yennega’s Ghanaian attacker Justice Amate, according to Accra-based Asempa FM.

Amate, 22, left the shores of Ghana to join the 13-time Burkina Faso Premier League title winners in February 2021.

Since his arrival, he has adapted well to the Burkinabe environment and his performance has attracted the interest of the Porcupine Warriors who are hunting for a finisher.

And, Asempa FM’s Enoch Worlanyo has reported on the SportsNite Leak segment that Kotoko are in Burkina Faso hunting for the striker.

Though the Leaks did not give out the name, Ghana Sports Online has established that the interest is in the former WAFA attacker

Amate can operate from either side of the wings and can also play as a center-forward and would link up well with Ugandan forward Steven Mukwala who has hit a rich vein of form.

According to Transfermarkt.com, Amate has a market value of €100,000.

He spent four seasons at WAFA, starting from the 2017 season to the 2019/20 season.
