Leader of Volta Separatists Group Papavi dies

• Papavi Kudzordzi went into hiding after he declared some part of the Volta Region a sovereign state • He was earlier arrested in 2019 after activities of the Western Togoland came to the attention of the government but was released • He died after a short illness Volta Separatist Charles Kormi Kudjordji popularly known as Papavi has been reported dead after a short illness.
