2022 FIFA World Cup Data: A pool of 42 players, 16 attackers and 14 defenders – This is where Otto Addo will pick his Black Stars from

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup with just 5 weeks left to start of the Mundial in Qatar.

According to Ghana Sports Publications’ unwavering sources,  Addo has settled on these 20 players for 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Borussia Dortmund Head of Talent Development has overseen 8 games since being appointed on interim basis in February 2022 and later being confirmed in May to be the man to lead the West African giants to the tournament.

Addo has invited 42 different players within 8 months that he has been in charge of the team.

However, certain names have been regular in the 3 different call-ups he has announced since being put into the helm in 8 months and 3 days ago.

The former Ghana international, who played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup for Ghana, will pick his final squad from the pool of players he has worked with since being installed into the role.

From the 3 different call ups, Addo has called up 14 defenders, 8 midfielders, and 16 attackers.

Goalkeepers: Jojo Wollacott, Richard Ofori, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
